All creative skills I have I've by myself. Now working as designer at e-learning game studio and the same time do different art such as illustration, CG art, photography. I like to be creative and find myself in everything - it doesn't matter what I'm doing: tattooing, making sites or postcards, sewing clothes or toys, writing articles or code.

Project tiltle: Memento

Author: Kirill Moskalev

Description:

Memory is the first thing in line of thinking about the theme of end
and over. What will we recollect before the end? Which parts of our
lives will flash before our eyes? The aim of this project is to
reflect memories. It represents subjective vision of some fundamental
concepts such as Time, Death and Love.

Photography as the medium for this project connected with memory
through the technique of capturing moments. All the pictures for the
project was made with Polaroid camera that reinforces the metaphor of
instantaneity and caducity of memory.

Living in the world of information chaos where thousands of images
captures our attention every moment, our mind switches from holistic
perception of people around to fragmentary perception of their
behavior, personal belongings and other details. For example, you can
hardly remember features of your close friend whom you've not seen for
a long time, but you can at once recall all the details and emotions
of a day when he was wearing a funny and bright sweater. That' why to
tell about a man or a woman in a picture it's enough to photograph
everyday details which represents he or her immaterial substance for
people around such as morning mess, crumpled bed or lost hairbrush...

Materials and techniques:

Polaroid SX 70, Polaroid 636, Expired Polaroid 600 and TZ artistic film
