BIOGRAPHY
Multimedia artist and theorist born in Belgrade (Yugoslavia), 1981. Active in the field of performance art (including cyber performance, lecture performance and contemporary theatre) as well as new media art. Also engaged in theoretical research in the respective fields, she introduces interdisciplinary and multimedia approach in all the aspects of her work. Author of a number of articles, critical reviews and essays on contemporary art and media, published in Serbia, Slovenia and Austria. Currently a PhD candidate at University of Arts in Belgrade, working on a thesis: “Critical Theory of Performance in Digital Art: Towards the New Political Performance”.
Presents her work locally and internationally in collaboration with institutions and organizations such as: Tanzquartier Wien (Austria), Odin Teatret (Denmark), BITEF Theatre (Serbia), National Theatre in Belgrade (Serbia), Ravenna Festival (Italy), Hamlet Summer Festival (Denmark), Ohrid Summer Festival (Macedonia), Biennal of Young Artists from Europe and Mediterranean (Macedonia), Atelje 212 (Serbia), TkH Walking Theory (Serbia), Student’s Culture Center (Serbia), Dom Omladine Belgrade (Serbia), Kontekst Gallery (Serbia), New Moment Gallery (Serbia), namaTRE.ba festival (Bosnia and Herzegovina), October Salon (Serbia), Beton Hala Theatre (Serbia), International Festival of Theatre and Visual Arts ZDARZENIA (Poland) etc
